Located in the delightful Latin Quarter in the 5th arrondissement of Paris, this delightful city apartment is perfectly positioned for exploring all the most popular city sights with ease. The neighbourhood takes its name from the language the students and professors of the nearby Sorbonne were heard to utter in the streets in years gone by.
You will find the wonderful 28 acre Jardin des Plantes directly opposite the apartment as well as the National Natural History Museum (Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle) which has been host to literally millions of visitors since its opening in the 1700s. It’s the perfect place to visit if you are a fan of dinosaurs and fossils. Also located within the gardens are the Museum of Paleontology and Anatomy, and the Museum of Geology.
A short wander east will lead you to the famous River Seine. Follow it north a few minutes and you will come to one of the city’s most iconic buildings, Notre Dame Cathedral. Made famous by Victor Hugo’s novel ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’ and later the Hollywood adaptation, thousands of people flock here daily to admire the impressive gothic architecture.
