Location

The apartment is located in the 5th arrondissement of Paris known as the Latin Quarter. It takes its name from the language once uttered in the streets by students and professors from the nearby Sorbonne many years ago.

Directly across the street lies the famous Jardin des Plantes, the city’s beautiful botanical gardens. The National Museum of Natural History sits within its 28 acres of land as well as large greenhouses filled with all kinds of exotic plants making it the perfect place to explore on a cold day. If you want to find out more about the world then also check out the Museum of Paleontology and Anatomy, and the Museum of Geology also located here.

The district boasts a very lively café culture as well as a healthy nightlife scene that you may wish to access during your stay.

Follow the Seine north on foot to reach the fantastic Notre Dame cathedral which sits on a naturally formed island in the river. Meanwhile, the apartment is only a short walk from Gare d’Austerliz metro station allowing you ease of access to the whole city.
