The apartment is located within the very heart of Paris’s throbbing hub within the 3rd arrondissement. It combines with the adjoining 4th district to create the infamous Marais neighbourhood. This is the definitely the place to be if you are in search of an authentic taste of a traditional Paris. The surrounding mansions date back to the 7th century and the streets are delightful cobbled. You will find a wealth of cultural attractions on your doorstep including fascinating museums and fabulous art galleries as well as an excellent array of restaurants and effortlessly cool cafes.
The Marias district remains one of the most popular central areas within the city. You will find easy access to the excellent Musee des Arts et Metiers which boasts a veritable dictionary of French industrial inventions throughout history. Be sure to also pop along to the fabulously quirky Pompidou Centre, Europe’s largest collection of 20th century artworks. The building itself is something of a masterpiece featuring its internal workings on the outside housed in a myriad of primary coloured tubes including the escalators. It has become affectionately known as the ‘inside out building’.
