Inside you will find a bright and spacious living space with floor to window ceilings and stunning dark wooden floors throughout. A mix of contemporary and antique furniture with a cream décor allows the space a sophisticated ambience. There’s a large red sofa for relaxing on after a long day out exploring the city. From here you can enjoy the TV also provided for your entertainment. It sits, unusually, in the fireplace itself. The sofa also converts easily into a double bed for two for your guests. An attractive dining table and chairs is ready for a meal to served at it. Make mealtimes extra sociable by enjoying them together here. The kitchen is just at the rear of the apartment and fitted with all the equipment you need for preparing all your own meals during your stay. The bedroom is simply decorated ensuring you a good night’s sleep. You will find a large comfortable double bed, excellent storage furniture for your clothes and belongings and pleasant mood lighting. There is also a small singe bed/sofa measuring bed 160x70cms which is ideal for a child to sleep on in the reception area. The apartment has its own private bathroom consisting of a toilet, shower, sink and bath. The apartment sits on the 3rd floor overlooking the street. It can be accessed via a lift.

You will discover the Saint-Honore apartment located in one of the most central areas of the city, the 2nd arrondissement. Just two minutes’ walk away is the famous Louvre museum and art gallery. Home to the most famous portrait in the world, the Mona Lisa, it is up to you to decide for yourself if her enigmatic smile is worthy of all the attention. Check out the controversial glass pyramid that so unexpectedly appealed to Prince Charles and explore the 652,300 square feet of gallery space and its 35,000 objects of interest. The Louvre of course sits on the north bank of the River Seine which is also home to Ile de Cite, one of two naturally formed islands in the river where you can find the infamous Notre Dame Cathedral. This masterpiece of Gothic architecture is draw for many thousands of visitors every day who glimpse up in to the belfry in the hope of catching sight of a shadowy figure. The figure in question is the leading role form Victor Hugo’s 19th century novel ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’. The story became much more famous a hundred years later via the 1939 Hollywood film version with Charles Laughton and Maureen O’Hara. The building itself dates back much further however to the mid 12th century when it was constructed over an 80-year period. It should be noted that the cathedral remains a fully functioning place of worship and hosts services daily therefore if you wish to explore inside be sure to check the website for general public opening times.
