Museum view 204 Apartment Paris

This delightful 2-person studio apartment boasts a fantastic central setting close to many of the city’s most popular attractions.

The apartment is absolutely ideal for a couple looking for a comfortable holiday home with self-catering facilities. Located on the 2nd floor of an attractive apartment building, the front door of your apartment is accessed via a lift or stairs. Inside you will find a beautifully presented living space featuring large windows, cream walls and light coloured wood flooring. A double bed and quality storage for your belongings is also included as well as a wall mounted flat screen TV.

A kitchenette area allows you to prepare simple meals. You can pick up fresh ingredients from local convenience stores. A charming dining table and chairs are also provided for eating together in comfort.

The apartment also includes a private bathroom fitted with a sink, bath and toilet.

Please Note: The decoration and lay out of this studio can slightly differ from the pictures. Actual pictures from this apartment will be uploaded as soon as possible. A baby cot is available for an extra charge of Euro 40 per night.

Location

You will find the apartment located alongside the beautiful Jardin des Plantes, just a short walk from the left bank of the River Seine itself. This outstanding 28 acre estate also includes a number of museums to visit. The apartment building actually looks out upon the National Museum of Natural History. Since you are so close by there’s really no excuse for not checking it out. If the weather is not particularly great during your stay you can pop into the exotic giant green houses and explore the green lush environments of unusual plant species – the temperatures are very warm in here.

The neighbourhood is known as the Latin Quarter within the 5th arrondissement. It takes its name from the language that could once often be heard uttered by passing students and professors from the nearby Sorbonne.

Getting around town could not be easier since the handy Gare d’Austerlitz station is almost on your doorstep.

Popular city landmarks close by are the fantastic Grand Mosque of Paris and just up the river, within easy walking distance, is the world famous cathedral of Notre Dame. It was of course made famous by Victor Hugo’s novel the Hunchback of Notre Dame and the later Hollywood film adaptations. Many people gather under the shadow of this gothic building and gaze upwards towards the belfry in search of a mysterious shadowy figure. If you do see someone it is likely to just be a window cleaner. It should be noted that this is a fully functioning place of worship and there are times when the building is not open to the public. Be sure to check the official website for opening times to avoid disappointment.
