You will find the Mithouard Junior Suite 200 apartment sandwiched between the elegant Eiffel Tower and the beautiful Les Invalides. Both attractions are within easy walking distance. The Eiffel Tower is the most visited man made structure in the world with over 200 million visitors since its construction in 1889. In 2000 the height of the tower was recorded as 324 metres, which is higher than when it was built since a radio antenna was later fitted on top. Amazingly it is that antenna that stopped the tower from being destroyed altogether as the structure fell from public favour several decades after it was built. Its use as a radio mast was considered so important that it remained and was saved. It was only later that it became the international success we know it as today.

Les Invalides, officially known as L'Hôtel National des Invalides (The National Residence of the Invalids), is a complex of impressive buildings in the 7th arrondissement of the city. It is certainly worth visiting as not only is it incredibly beautiful, it contains a whole series of museums and monuments all relating to the military history of France. As well as the Musée de l'Armée, the military museum of the Army of France, the Musée de l'Ordre de la Libération and the Musée d'Histoire Contemporaine. It is the burial site for some of France's war heroes, most notably Napoleon Bonaparte.

Metro station Saint Francois Xavier is just a few minutes walk form the apartment making the city extremely easy to explore.
