Fg St Martin II Apartment Paris

You will find the Fg St Martin II apartment located close in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris. The nearest Metro Station to the apartment is Hotel de Ville which is the name of the grandiose Paris town hall that stands nearby. It has been the location of the municipality of the city since 1357. These days it serves multiple functions including Mayor of Paris’ offices and as a venue for large city receptions and events. The nearest Metro station is very helpfully named Hotel de Ville.

To the north is Porte Saint Denis. This large monumental archway in the 10th arrondissement is originally the site of one of the gates of the now-destroyed fortifications of Paris known as the Wall of Charles V. Occasionally tourists do get it mixed up with the famous Arc de Triomphe which stands at the Place Charles de Gaulle, at the western end of the Champs-Élysées. This is a great shame as it is twice the height of Porte Saint Denis and certainly does not deserve to be duped by such a titchy neighbour!

Wander a little further south and you will find yourself on the north bank of the River Seine, the very epicentre of Paris, where you will find the marvellous Louvre and the majestic gothic architectural masterpiece Notre Dame sitting on an island in the river.
